Soft as the fluffiest kitten, this yarn blends the luxurious silkiness of Suri alpaca with a delicate halo. First, the yarn is spun. Then comes the magical part: brushing. This extra step fluffs up the fibres, creating the unique, feathery texture by separating and lifting them. Exceptionally soft and non-itchy, it is an excellent alternative for those sensitive to mohair. Sweaters, cowls, and accessories made from this yarn are supremely comfortable and elegant.
The yarn takes dye beautifully, with speckles diffusing gently. Depending on the dyeing method, skeins may require light re-fluffing before use. We recommend 4.5mm needles for a refined finish or 5mm for a softer drape, both producing excellent results.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. We dye and store all of our yarn in our smoke-free and pet-free home. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, I would always recommend alternating skeins.
The skeins has been photographed in natural light to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens and monitors can differ slightly. I cannot guarantee that your device's display of any colour will be accurate.
High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the colour adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colours may bleed slightly in the first wash.
