This yarn is like soft, fluffy clouds, crafted from meticulously brushed Baby Suri Alpaca fibers. First, the yarn is spun, then undergoes a careful brushing process that separates and fluffs the individual fibers, creating its signature feathery texture. It takes dye beautifully, though colours remain soft and speckles spread gently across the base. Depending on the dyeing method, skeins may appear slightly matted, which can be easily remedied by gently teasing and fluffing the yarn when dry.
Knitted fabric is exceptionally soft with a delicate halo, and the yarn performs beautifully as a lightweight lace or as a stranding yarn paired with other bases.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. We dye and store all of our yarn in our smoke-free and pet-free home. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, I would always recommend alternating skeins.
The skeins has been photographed in natural light to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens and monitors can differ slightly. I cannot guarantee that your device's display of any colour will be accurate.
High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the colour adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colours may bleed slightly in the first wash.
