This 100% Baby Suri Alpaca yarn offers exceptional softness and a luxurious feel at great value. After spinning, it undergoes a meticulous brushing process that fluffs the fibres, creating a unique, feathery texture and airy halo.
Though not made from first-sheared baby Suri hair like our silk blend, it remains incredibly soft and perfect for sweaters, scarves, and wraps. It knits beautifully on various needle sizes, either single-stranded or paired for extra warmth. While intricate patterns soften in its fluffy texture, colourwork and faded knits stand out.
The yarn takes dye beautifully, with colours gently diffusing across its cloud-like base, resulting in a pillow-soft fabric with lovely drape. Ideal for cosy, elegant garments and accessories.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. We dye and store all of our yarn in our smoke-free and pet-free home. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, I would always recommend alternating skeins.
The skeins has been photographed in natural light to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens and monitors can differ slightly. I cannot guarantee that your device's display of any colour will be accurate.
High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the colour adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colours may bleed slightly in the first wash.
