Our BFL/Gotland yarn base offers a beautifully balanced combination of softness, structure, and a touch of rustic charm. It’s soft and lustrous thanks to the Bluefaced Leicester, while the Gotland brings a delicate halo, a hint of heathering, and a wonderfully “sheepy” character. The result is a yarn that’s incredibly warm and perfect for shawls and sweaters. It drapes beautifully while holding its shape, and its gentle halo and shine lend a rustic elegance to textured stitch patterns. Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. We dye and store all of our yarn in our smoke-free and pet-free studio. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, we would always recommend alternating skeins.
The skeins has been photographed in natural light to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens and monitors can differ slightly. I cannot guarantee that your device's display of any colour will be accurate.
High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the colour adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colours may bleed slightly in the first wash.
