Our Dye to Order
Sometimes your most-loved colourway disappears from the shop before you can get your hands on it, or perhaps it isn’t available in the base you prefer. That’s where our Dyed to Order listings come in. They’re a chance to have your chosen colourway created on your chosen base, dyed specially for you.
As you may know, hand dyeing is a labour of love, and to guarantee you the best quality possible we set just a few rules and key things you need to know before placing your order:

Minimum order: 2 skeins of the same colourway and base. Orders not meeting this requirement will be cancelled and refunded.

Turnaround time: Please allow 6–8 weeks for your yarn to be dyed and ready to ship.

Combined orders: If you add in-stock items to your Dyed to Order, they will be shipped together once the custom skeins are complete.

Pre-order policy: As each Dyed to Order skein is created just for you, these products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Discount offer: A 10% discount will be applied automatically at checkout when you order 4 or more Dyed to Order skeins.
Some interesting thing you should know about hand dyed yarn and our dyed to order is that no two skeins are ever truly identical. Yarns will always vary a little: from one batch to the next, even between skeins within the same dye lot. On different bases, the differences grow more striking as fibre content and structure bring out unexpected tones.
These variations are part of what makes hand-dyed yarn so special - every skein carries its own story.
