In show preparations, we have compiled a massive stock of various bases and colourways, sweater quantities which will be available to purchase until everything is sold. We understand the importance of finding the perfect skein which is why we provide actual photos of the skeins we have in stock.
Please note that our focus for this shop update will be on non-superwash yarns, although superwash option will still be available.

Organic Merino Fingering: 100% Fine Merino; 400m per 100g | 437yard per 3.5oz
Superwash Treated:
Merino Fingering: 100% SW Fine Merino; 400m per 100g | 437yard per 3.5oz
Merino Aran: 100% SW Fine Merino; 166m per 100g | 181.5yard per 3.5oz
Superwash (SW) and Non-Superwash (NSW) yarns behave differently in the dye bath, colourways on NSW bases will appear less intense. Prior to making your order please read more about our yarn bases by clicking here or email us via hello@zakamiyarns.com if you have any specified question.
Due to the nature of hand-dyeing process hand-dyed yarn tends to vary both between and within dye lots. Colourways will vary much more drastically across bases due to the difference in plies, fibre content and also depending on whether the yarn is SW or NSW.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. We dye and store all of our yarn in our smoke-free and pet-free home. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, I would always recommend alternating skeins.
The skeins has been photographed in natural light to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens and monitors can differ slightly. I cannot guarantee that your device's display of any colour will be accurate.
High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the colour adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colours may bleed slightly in the first wash.
